Assistant City Manager Anne Cardwell (middle), who is leaving Martinez for the same position in Vallejo, is honored Wednesday with a proclamation from Martinez City Council. A veteran of 22 years of public and private sector work, she has spent 13 years with the city of Benicia before working since September 2016 as Martinez’s assistant city manager.
