Pink police patches

MARTINEZ, Calif. ­­– Martinez Police Department is selling pink versions of their department patches to raise money for the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. Quantities are limited, and they’re available for cash and in-person purchase only at the front counter of the Martinez Police Department, 525 Henrietta St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Donations by those who don’t want a patch also are being accepted for the crusade through the end of October, and those may be dropped by or mailed to the department. Mailed donations may be sent to the Martinez Police Department Attn. Renee Jacobs, 525 Henrietta St., Martinez, Calif., 94553.
