MARTINEZ, Calif. – David Glasser is the new finance director of Martinez, Assistant City Manager Anne Cardwell has announced.
He succeeds Finance Manager Cindy Mosser, who left Martinez last year to accept a position with the city of Martinez. Bill Zenoni has been the interim finance director while a permanent replacement was sought.
Glasser’s first day will be Wednesday, March 14.
He has been a senior executive for several California agencies, including Albany, Union City, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and Alameda County, for a combined 15 years at that level.
In addition, he has worked for private firms that help public agencies in financing of public projects and investment banking services.
Glasser received is bachelor of arts degree in English from State University of New York in Albany and his master of public administration from Rockefeller College at State University of New York, Albany.
