Tickets Available For Bay Area Craft Beer Festival

More than 50 local breweries will be participating in the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival at the Martinez Marina April 21, and tickets are available online through April 20.

General admission for beer tasting is $35, and if any are available the event day, will be $45. Of the admission price, $10 will be donated to Main Street Martinez, a nonprofit organization that promotes the city’s downtown shopping business district.

Those buying beer tasting tickets must be at least 21 and provide a valid photograph identification. The ticket covers unlimited beer tasting as well as live music entertainment.

Designated drivers can buy $5 tickets in advance. These will be $10 at the door. Designated drivers also must be at least 21 and produce a valid photograph identification. They will be given a reusable water bottle printed with the event logo, and have access to free water at the Hydration Station. The designated drivers must not drink beer.

Food will be available for purchase.

Those attending may bring lawn chairs.

A free shuttle service from the Martinez Marina through the downtown area to the Martinez-North Concord BART station will be provided. Parking will be free at the Martinez Martina and throughout the downtown area.

Cars, Kids and Coffee Sunday At The Cobra Experience

Cars, Kids and Coffee will take place at the Cobra Experience, 777 Arnold Drive, at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. This is a chance for people to introduce children to a love of cars. Cars Kids and Coffee takes place the third Sunday of every month at the Cobra Experience, a museum dedicated to the Cobra automobile.

Bay Area high school students and law enforcement officers will face off at a fun place for the challenge – Sonoma Raceway’s quarter-mile drag strip, where the popular “Top the Cops program returns today.
