Rankin Aquatic Center has opened for the summer, the Martinez Recreation Division has announced.
The pool, at 100 Buckley St., opened Saturday for the Weekend Recreation Swim, and will be open noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until Sept. 8.
Weekday recreation swims will start at noon June 11, and weekday recreation swim hours will be noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until Aug. 9.
Daily admission to the aquatic center is free for infants up to 2 years, $4 for children 3 to 17, $6 for adults 18 to 54 and $5 for those 55 and older. Punch passes and season passes also are available.
Group and Parent Tot swim lessons also are available starting the week of June 10. Classes are 30 minutes long and meet four times a week.
