Deluxe seminar open to local businesses

Martinez business owners can benefit from the city’s reaching the finals in Deluxe’s “Small Business Revolution” series contest that would choose the place for the third season’s focus.

Although the winner is Alton, Ill., Martinez and other finalists will get a one day small business seminar Monday, presented through the show’s organizer and sponsor, Deluxe, a company that provides services and tools to small business owners.

Local businesses will be able to learn how to get found online, how to enhance sales and marketing, how to identify and manage customers’ experiences, how to build a budget and manage finances.

Participants will be eligible for a chance to win $1,000 in marketing services.

Speakers are Linzi Breckenridge, director of content experience; Noah Turner, manager; Brant Schmitz, director of email and marketing automation; and Elizabeth Anderson, director of social media and content, all from Deluxe.

Seating is limited to two per business. The event takes place with check-in at 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 12at the Martinez Event Center, 524 Main St.
