Shell Martinez Refinery will be making mandatory repairs this month to the railroad crossing on Marina Vista Avenue, Ann Notarangelo, external relations manager, said.
Work will start at 6 p.m. Friday, April 27, and continue around the clock through Monday, April 30. During that time, only one lane will be open to motorists on Marina Vista Avenue, she said.
Shell Avenue will be available as a detour, she said.
“We will have detour signs in placed and we are mobilizing resources to address potential impacts. While we aim to complete the work before the Monday morning commute, we encourage you to consider there may be crews working during that time,” she said.
