Chamber Lunch And Learn May 16

Martinez Chamber of Commerce members and others may learn about employment law from attorney Hames Wu at noon Wednesday, May 16 during the Lunch and Learn presentation in Shell Western States Credit Union, 1700 Pacheco Blvd.

Admission is free to Chamber members and $10 to nonmembers. Since space is limited, those interested should email Julie@martinezchamber.com or call 925-228-2345.

Those attending should bring a lunch and business cards.

Chamber Mixer May 16 At Able West Auto Center

The next Chamber Mixer will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Able West Auto Center, 3925 Alhambra Ave. Admission is free. Beverages and drawing tickets will be sold.

The Chamber Mixer is an opportunity for business people to network and exchange information. Businesses owners who want their companies announced may bring drawing prizes.

Tickets Available For Summer Wine Stroll

Tickets are available for the Main Street Martinez Summer Wine Stroll, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 9.

Cost is $20 and available online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/downtown-martinez-summer-wine-stroll-2018-tickets-44042248551.

Those participating will take their tickets at 1 p.m. to the Main Street Plaza, where they may redeem it for a tasting glass, a wine glass charm, a map of participating businesses and a passport.

New businesses opening in Martinez are Function and Fringe, at its new site at 828 Main St.; Knots and Found, 701 Escobar St.; Lucid Vitality, 516 Main St.; Taco Daddy’s, 915 Main St.; and Troy Greek Cuisine, 720 Main St. Opening soon are Del Cielo Brewing, 701-A Escobar St., and Pandora’s Box, 511 Main St.

Richie Wilkinson Exhibiting At Haute Stuff

Mixed media artist Richie Wilkinson is exhibiting his paintings at Haute Stuff Bistro, 521 Main St. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for lunch and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for dinners.

MCC Spring Concert

The Martinez Community Chorus will present its Spring Concert at the Martinez Adult School Auditorium, 600 ” F” St. on Tuesday May 15 at 7:30 PM. Join us as we present a selection of traditional and contemporary songs featuring the Chorus and soloists. Admission is free.
