MARTINEZ, Calif. – Martinez Police Department is selling pink versions of their department patches to raise money for the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. Quantities are limited, and they’re available for cash and in-person purchase only at the front counter of the Martinez Police Department, 525 Henrietta St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Donations by those who don’t want a patch also are being accepted for the crusade through the end of October, and those may be dropped by or mailed to the department.
